Ugh, don't you just hate these things??
They are all over my backyard.
I was talking to my friends mom the other day and she said that when her kids were younger and they would get in trouble, she would make them go out in the yard and pick up 100 of these little gumdrops.
Ha ha..I might have to remember that for when Seraphina gets older.
Oh, but my Seraphina would never act up--right?!
She's always going to my lil' angel!
I was digging through all of my camera stuff today and I found something that I had dug out of my dads old camera bag a while back and forgot about--a Kenko NT Auto Teleplus 3x (which, by playing around with it, I am assuming is an extension tube for lenses-right? Correct me if I am wrong..).
It's attached to 50 mm 1.4 lens (which I can't get off-huff..I think something broke on it and it is now permanently attached..).
This is what I used to take this pic and I am loving how close I can get to things!
I can't wait to play around with it more.
This is how close I could get with my 50 mm 1.8 lens that I already have:
Pretty big difference-huh?

Wow Marci,
That is one awesome shot!! Hope you can get it off.
Love the colors too.
Pretty macro!
These may be annoying but great for taking photos of! So beautiful! xo
I do hate those things but it looks cool!
I used to hate them because when I was growing up they were all over the place. I took that for granted. Now there isn't a tree in sight & I find myself looking back at those as a reminder of my childhood. You captured it well.
Love it!
Very cool. I have the 1.8, as well. The 1.4 just seemed too soft, but I use it a lot to photograph food, so maybe that's why. Cool shots with the 1.4. They don't call it the Nifty-Fifty for nothing. :-)
