Macro & Skywatch Friday!

At first I was just taking pictures of the beautiful orange flower..til I noticed the unique "hairy" thing that was hanging off the side of it.  Will that be another flower?

FYI, whenever I find a new action or texture I ususally end up overusing it for a couple of weeks playing around with it.  It's like a fun, new toy.  Which seems to be the case with Captivus Soft Nature Action Set..  I used Rocks on this particular picture and adjusted the opacity slightly.

I actually took this sunset picture several weeks ago in my front yard and I had forgotten about it.  I upped the contrast just a smidge to make the trees more of a silhouette, but other than that it is SOOC.  Don't you just feel awesome when you are blessed with a gorgeous sunset like this?

Hope Ya'll have a great weekend!

I love the edit on the flower. I think the 'hairy' thing is a new bud.
The sun set is breath taking!

The canvas of the sky looks as though delicate brushstrokes have been applied!

LOOKING UP

No matter if blue or if grey,
The sky is my favorite way
To find my heart’s ease;
And now, if you please,
I must go look up straightaway.
