Sunday Scavenger Hunt

Ashley Sisk over at Ramblings and Photos hosts a great photo scavenger hunt on Sundays. Here are my takes on the 5 words for this week...

1. Black & White This is one of my favorites from my photo shoot a few days ago with mother/daughter duo Pam & Dakota. It's just such a sweet, candid shot that I think the mom will cherish forever (especially in a few years when Dakota is a teenager and your mom giving you a kiss is so not cool..).

2. I ate this..
Oh, yes, I did and it was yum-o! This was my Thanksgiving dinner plate..and well, quite honestly, it doesn't really look that appetizing in this picture but boooy was it delish! (and just to make you drool, I will list what everything is starting at the 6:00 position: string bean casserole, stuffing, mashed potatos, broccoli casserole, home-made cranberry sauce, sweet potatos and in the center, tofurkey. droool droool droool.)

3.Historic For the something historic shot, I knew that I wanted to take a stroll through Old Salem and take a pic of the giant old coffee pot that had become a landmark of the area..but the photograph of the coffee pot that was SOOC was a little lackluster. After messing around with it a little bit in photoshop and adding a texture to it, it's becoming a photo that I am slowly starting to love!

4.Off-Center This handsome fella is my nephew, with his proud parents (my sister and brother-in-law) behind him. He is turning 1 in just a few days! He is awesome!

5.The EndThe end of the road.

You can also find this photograph here.

P.S. Did you know that I am on twitter? You can find me here!

I love them all......seriously!! The BW is just precious. I love how the food fills the frame and has a nice depth. I don't know what the coffee pot looked like before, but it looks very warm and historic after. Plus, how cool that an old coffee pot is a landmark! I heart any photo of a child playing. And the End is a great picture, great idea, and great processing.
