Yea for completing another Scavenger Hunt Sunday hosted by Ashley Sisk!
The 5 words were:
I don't mind a nice, mild winter..I don't even mind a little fluffy snow (I mean, if it's going to be freezing anyway..I say let it snow and be pretty!) but I am not so much a fan of ice. So of course it sleeted and turned into ice the other day. At least I got a nice picture out of it..
2. BW w/ Selective Color
GMAC Insurance Tower
500 W Fifth St
FYI, this is the nation's 1st "smart" building..you can read about it here. Love the angles of this building. I snapped this shot right after I snapped this one.
Corner of Cherry & Seventh
They just painted this mural on the side of this building a few months ago. I think it looks so cool.
5. Remember When..
104 West Fourth St
Old buildings always look they have such a great story to tell..if they could. I certainly don't remember when this building was in it's hay day but I bet it was magnificent when it was. Built in 1926, the "Pepper Building" was the 1st Art Deco-style building in North Carolina at the time.
Hmm..apparently I have a thing for architecture this week.
